Web Standards Sites (xHTML/CSS)

Web Standards based websites are those that use standardized best practices for building web sites by using Extensible Hypertext Markup Language (xHTML) for content and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for presentation and layout control. Craftix has knowledgeable developers who can maintain your modern standards based site and will make sure that those standards continue to be adhered to validating your web pages against the industry accepted World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) standards.

Legacy HTML Sites

Despite the recent push towards web standards and better Web Browser implementation of web standards, there are still very many websites that utilize legacy methodologies. Craftix has been in operation for over a decade and building websites all along. As such, we have developers who are also very well versed in maintenance of legacy HTML sites that utilize HTML Tables for layout control and presentation and can help you continue to operate your present website until you're ready to either have it modified to be standards compliant or replace it altogether with a new site.

Flexible Pricing Methods

Craftix provides maintenance services based on customer need. If your needs are infrequent we can provide maintenance by request at our standard hourly rate as the need arises. Alternatively for clients with more frequent maintenance needs we can provide monthly contract rates to help regulate your website maintenance needs.

Consultations in the greater Baltimore, Frederick, and Westminster areas in Maryland, the Gettysburg, Hanover and Harrisburg areas in Pennsylvania, and in the Washington D.C and Northern Virginia area can be arranged in person at your offices. Outside of this area all phases of consultation are usually done remotely via email, phone, fax, and courier service/US postal mail. (Meetings outside of the Baltimore-Washington region may be arranged at client expense if desired.)
