Craftix Technology Solutions, LLC (Craftix) is a Gettysburg, PA based Information Systems and Technology firm offering a variety of IT services including website development, networking, and cabling services. The firm services businesses all along the Baltimore-Washington corridor up into Southern Central PA and down into Northern Virginia.
Craftix was founded in 1999, originally as Craftix Technical Solutions, by Charles McElhose Jr., a respected professional Web Designer and Network Engineer. Prior to founding Craftix, Mr. McElhose had previously worked both in the private sector and for the state of Maryland and federal government contractors in support of NARA and NASA. One of the most noteworthy projects Mr. McElhose worked on was in support of the STS-103 Space Shuttle Discovery Hubble Space Telescope (HST) 3A Servicing Mission. It was during Mr. McElhose's tenure in those agencies that he noticed the very real need so many Baltimore-Washington area businesses had for professional IT services that were reasonably priced. As such, Mr. McElhose founded Craftix with the goal of providing affordable enterprise-grade IT services for both small and large companies alike.
Now operating for over a decade, the firm is backed by the experience and skills of its principal in professional web development, systems support/engineering, data cabling, and network engineering which span more than two decades.
During the course of the company's operation, Craftix has built a strong reputation as a professional IT services firm, having successfully designed, deployed, and maintained numerous networks for Baltimore-Washington area firms as well as designing an ever growing number of websites for firms across a variety of disciplines both nationwide and internationally.
Craftix officially became Craftix Technology Solutions, LLC in 2010 slightly modifying the company name with an eye toward possible expansion into other technology arenas in the near future.
Today Craftix continues to build on its reputation of offering the kind of high quality IT services today's businesses need, while providing them at realistic costs.
